Welcome to Six Seven. You have selected a watch face designed to offer a unique time-telling experience and celebrates the numbers 67. This guide will help you understand the specific time formats, the available metrics, and how to customize the display.
1. How to Read the Time
The Six Seven watch face uses standard digital time for the majority of the day. However, it features two distinct visual events that occur regularly.
The Hourly Celebration
Every hour, the watch face celebrates the “67th minute” of the previous hour.
- When: At :07 past the current hour, which is also 67 minutes past the previous hour.
- What: A visual indicator appears to celebrate the moment.
The 10 O’Clock Shift
The watch face utilizes a unique method for displaying time specifically between the top of the hour, and 7 minutes past the hour (ex: 10:00 to 10:07).
- 10:00 is represented as 9:60.
- 10:07 is represented as 9:67.
- This is intentional and serves as the signature feature of the design.
- The time will return to the standard format 9:67 then progresses to 10:08) automatically after the 67th minute passes.
2. Fitness & Health Features
Your daily metrics are located directly below the main time display.
Heart Rate & Steps
- Heart Rate: Displays your current heart rate reading.
- Step Counter: A distinct icon tracks your daily step total.
3. Battery & Date
Battery Monitor
A percentage indicator is visible on the screen to provide a quick reference for your current battery life.
Date Display
The current Day of Week, and Date are permanently displayed for quick reference.
4. Always-On Display (AOD)
Six Seven includes an optimized Always-On mode. When your watch enters low-power or ambient mode, the screen changes, showing only the time. This ensures the time remains legible while reducing battery consumption. It still shows its unique time-telling method when it’s 1 minute through 7 minutes after the hour.
5. Settings & Customization
You can adjust the appearance of the watch face through the standard Wear OS menu.
How to Customize:
- Long-press the center of your watch screen.
- Tap the Settings (Gear Icon) or Customize button.
- Swipe through the various settings and set them as you like.
6. Troubleshooting
Step counter shows 0 or does not update This usually occurs if the permissions were denied during installation.
- Solution: Switch to a different watch face and then switch back to Six Seven. When the system pop-up asks for “Physical Activity” permissions, ensure you tap Allow.
After 9:59, the watch shows 9:60, not 10:00. This is not an error and is by design so that we can lead up to celebrating the 67th minute past the previous hour. Time returns to normal at 8 minutes past the hour.
